Alex Brooks is a novelist and independent filmmaker. HIs journey started in July 2014 while still residing in the Midwest, Southwestern Illinois to be specific. While his writing journey may have started there, the roots of his writing destiny go back to the mid to late 90s. Having been an avid reader since the age of 9, his literary taste went from "Goosebumps" and "Berenstain Bears" to the likes of Eric Jerome Dickey, Carl Weber, Kimberla Lawson Roby, John Grisham, and numerous others. One day, a personal challenge to himself to see if he could write like the authors he lovesd reading so much resulted in his first novella, 1900 Hours, and the rest is history.
As you can see, there is an alternative spelling for the word "Soulfull." Before you send the grammar police on me, hear me out. The original name/concept was dubbed "The Soul is FULL of Truth." While everyone's soul definitely is, that name was simply too long and didn't have the rhythm I was looking for. Say that whole thing out loud and tell me if you disagree. After three days of thinking and almost changing it, I wrote the whole name on paper and realized taking out a few words gave it the right rhythm and still got my message across, and "Soulfull Truth" was born.
